Document grid in Review

Each row of the document grid identifies a document and displays a count of related documents. The document grid also provides reviewers the ability to tag the document without opening it using the quick tags.

To open a document, simply select anywhere on the row and the document appears in the right pane. Each parent document appears as a row in the grid. By default, the document grid shows all filtered documents until you perform a search. After performing a search, the search results appear in the document grid.

The following figure shows an example of a row in the document grid. In the figure, numbers indicate areas that are described below.

  1. The file extension icon displays the extension of the native document, such as DOC or DOCX for Microsoft Word or EML for email. Documents without a file extension display NONE.
  2. The file name appears next to the file extension. For email, the subject acts as the file name. Alternatively, in the grid, select View options to display the document number assigned by the system instead of the file name.

  3. Relationship icons indicate the number of attachments, email conversations, and near duplicates for the selected document. If a number greater than zero appears next to an icon, click the icon to view a list of the related documents.

Project Managers define quick tags in Project Settings. The table shows default quick tags in a selected state. The system cannot show default quick tags if the related default coding fields are not available in the project.
